The High Court of Himachal Pradesh (HP High Court), Shimla, has issued a recruitment notification (Vacancy Circular No: HHC/Recruit./HC/Steno./2025-I) for the post of Junior Scale Stenographer (Group-C). Eligibility Criteria

Education

• Graduate from a recognized university.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as Steno-Typist / Junior Scale Stenographer or in a higher post.
• Must have the following skills:
  • English Stenography: 90 words per minute (WPM).
  • Transcription Test: Required as per notification.
  • Typing Speed: 45 WPM on computer.

Salary

• ₹28,900 – ₹91,600 per month as per the pay matrix of HP High Court.

Age Limit

• Maximum: 45 years
• Relaxations in upper age limit will be applicable as per Himachal Pradesh Government norms.

• Unreserved (UR): ₹347.92 (including GST)
• Reserved categories of H.P. (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PH): ₹197.92 (including GST)

Selection Process

• Candidates will undergo:
  • Stenography Test
  • Typing Test
  • Interview
• Only shortlisted applicants will be called for skill tests.
